Creating 3D models from customer drawings.
Creating drawings from final designed parts.
Designing parts and assemblies as per defined constraints.
Planning for parts manufacturing by selecting the appropriate manufacturing method and sending the details to the manufacturing partner.
Preparing inspection plans for parts sent for manufacturing.
Skills/ Knowledge Required
Good knowledge of using the 3D modeling software Fusion 360.
Good knowledge of GD&T and how tolerances are defined.
Good knowledge of basic geometrical concepts like perpendicularity, parallelism, symmetry, etc.
Good understanding of how to create a drawing from a 3D model.
Having a good grasp of basic engineering fundamentals like mass, volume, acceleration, force, stresses, etc., and basic mathematical calculations relevant to engineering.
Basic understanding of pneumatics.
Job Scope
Components selection and panel layout design.
Panel wiring: both control and power.
Installation and commissioning at the customer end along with troubleshooting calls.
PLC programming as per ongoing projects.
Drawing of circuit diagrams on AutoCAD.
Skills/ Knowledge Required
Understanding of control and power circuits.
AutoCAD.
Good knowledge of basic electrical concepts.
Understanding of ladder logic and how PLC programming is done.
Awareness about VFDs, stepper and servo drive and their parameters.
Awareness of communication protocols used in industrial control.
Job Scope
Installation of machine/ automation at customer end.
Visiting customer end for service/ maintenance/ troubleshooting of machines supplied.
Responding to breakdowns
Diagnosing faults
Repairing equipment
Providing training/ guidance to operators/ maintenance personnel at the customer end for operating and running the machine supplied.
Skills/ Knowledge Required
Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and how a particular part can be manufactured.
A good understanding of conventional manufacturing processes like turning, milling (horizontal and vertical), surface grinding, cylindrical grinding, etc.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
A problem-solving mindset where you actively look for solutions temporary or permanent to get the job done rather than getting stuck at the problem itself.
Good understanding and ability to use basic measurement instruments like vernier caliper, micrometer, dial gauge, tri-square, spirit level, etc.
Ability to understand basic fundamentals like parallelism, and perpendicularity, and should be capable enough to independently level and align machines or parts of the machine as per the particular requirements.
Good communication skills.
